ESC began in 2024 over a Christmas dinner in Munich — a group of friends talking about how hard it still was for talented science students to land funded PhDs and Masters abroad. Our founder, Dr. Deepak Malik, was a DAAD Young Ambassador at the time, informally helping students navigate admissions. That conversation turned into a simple decision: this deserved to be something more formal.

Founded by Dr. Deepak Kumar Malik — PhD in Biochemistry from LMU Munich, previously IIT Bombay and the University of Delhi. Every mentor holds or is completing a doctorate abroad.
You pay after we talk, not before
Nothing is payable until you have had a free discovery call and decided. Payment is in your own currency, and can be split into two instalments — most of it only once you hold an offer letter.
We do not guarantee admission
Nobody honestly can, and anyone who does is selling you something else. We maximise your chances and tell you plainly where you stand. Once mentorship begins, fees are non-refundable — mentor time is invested from the first session.
Your data stays yours
Collected only with your consent, used only for mentorship, and never sold. We follow Indian data protection law and align with GDPR for our EU and UK students.
We are not the employer
The positions on our board are advertised by universities. Your application goes to them, and the official link is on every position page. We help you prepare it — we have no influence over their decision.
