Your role

Successful candidates will join the new Systems and Network Security Group led by Prof. Vincent Lenders. They will contribute to cutting-edge research in artificial intelligence for cybersecurity and perform the following tasks:

  • Research: Conduct scientific research to advance the field of artificial intelligence on problems related to the cybersecurity of critical infrastructure
  • Technology transfer: Work with industrial and governmental partners to transfer the group's research results into functional prototypes and technology demonstrators for uses cases in cybersecurity automation.
  • Education: Contribute in the teaching activities of the University's Cybersecurity Master program and supervise Master students
  • Dissemination: Present your research results at scientific conferences, journals and technology events.

Your profile

  • A MSc degree (or equivalent) in Cybersecurity, Computer Science
  • Interest in security research and/or security engineering
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary research environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Due to the specific requirements and constraints of the project, we are only able to consider applicants from EU EEA/EFTA countries, NATO Allied nations, and NATO Indo-Pacific Partners.

Language Requirements:
