About this position
The Institute for Tax Law is part of the broader Economic Law Research Unit.
The institute conducts research in tax law. This vacancy concerns a PhD position in tax law.
Project
- This position, with the objective of obtaining a doctoral degree from KU Leuven, aims to conduct fundamental research in the field of tax law. Candidates are asked to submit a concrete research proposal.
- You will assist with teaching tasks, such as teaching practical exercises, supervising bachelor's theses, acting as a second reader for master's theses, supervising exams, and marking exams.
Profile
- You hold a master's degree with a strong focus on tax law, achieving excellent results. A master's degree in taxation is a plus.
- You are fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
- You have excellent knowledge of tax law.
- You possess strong writing skills and can draft legal texts clearly and structuredly.
- You can work independently, but also function well in a team and demonstrate initiative.
- You are capable of successfully completing doctoral research.
Offer
- We offer a part-time position of 70% for 2 years, renewable for up to a maximum of 2 x 2 years (for a total of 6 years).
- This position offers a salary in accordance with salary scale 43. Relevant work experience can be taken into account.
