Applications are invited for appointments as Post-doctoral Fellow (several posts) in the Department of Chemistry (Ref.:536993), to commence as soon as possible for 1 year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry with a strong background and demonstrated experience in inorganic synthesis, particularly in organometallic chemistry. A strong sense of responsibility, good organizational skills, self-motivation, ability to work independently, and fluency in written and spoken English are required. The appointees will conduct research on the synthesis of novel precious-metal complexes and their application in anticancer drug development or transition-metal catalysis under the supervision of Professor Chi-Ming Che. Applicants with an outstanding academic record and relevant postdoctoral experience may be considered for appointment at a higher rank.
