Fixed term: 2 years

Applications are invited for a 2-year Postdoctoral Research Associate position to work with Dr. Amit Kumar at the School of Chemistry, University of St. Andrews, on the topics of organometallic chemistry, homogeneous catalysis, and polymer chemistry. The project aims to develop new organometallic catalysts and methodologies for the synthesis and recycling of renewable plastics, in particular using the approach of dehydrogenation and hydrogenation reactions. This role is available on a fixed-term basis for 2 years (with a possibility of extension) and is available to start on the 1st Feb 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter.
