This PhD will develop AI-enhanced flexible antenna systems for resilient next-generation wireless networks. By exploiting flexible antenna technologies, the project will investigate AI-driven approaches for channel estimation, beamforming, and real-time network optimisation. The goal is to enable adaptive 6G systems with improved reliability, energy efficiency, coverage, and resilience in complex and dynamic environments.
Applicants should have, or expect to achieve, at least a 2.1 honours degree or a master’s (or international equivalent) in a relevant science or engineering related discipline.
We strongly recommend that you contact main supervisor, Dr Zahra Mobini, before you apply. Please include details of your current level of study, academic background and any relevant experience and include a paragraph about your motivation to study this PhD project.
