This post will be supported by ITF Research Talent Hub scheme with highly competitive salary. Applicants should preferably possess a Ph.D. degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computational Mechanics, Computer Science, or a related discipline, with an outstanding track record of publications and research project experience. Applicants who are in the process of completing a Ph.D. degree will also be considered. Desirable qualifications include physics deep learning, digital twin, smart and resilient infrastructure. Excellent written and oral communication abilities, and a collaborative attitude are wanted.
The appointee will conduct original and collaborative research; author and co-author peer-reviewed publications; collaborate in ongoing projects and develop new research proposals. Inquiries about the duties of the post should be sent to Dr. Jiaji Wang at cewang@hku.hk
