We now invite applications for the captioned posts which focus in Metabolic Medicine and Immunometabolism, in the Department of Medicine, School of Clinical Medicine, and the State Key Laboratory of Pharmaceutical Biotechnology
Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct research on chronic metabolic diseases, including obesity, diabetes, ageing, cardiovascular diseases, metabolic dysfunction associated steatohepatitis (MASH), neurodegenerative disorders, and biostatistics
- Discover and characterize novel humoral factors and biomarkers involved in the regulation of metabolic homeostasis
- Perform biomedical experiments involving molecular biology techniques and biostatistical analysis
- Undertake other duties as assigned
- 5.5 workday per week is required
Requirements
- a Ph.D. degree, preferably with experience in molecular biology, immunology, bioinformatics, multi-omics, and/or manipulation of genetically-modified mice
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to share knowledge, work efficiently, and perform under pressure both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.

The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a temporary basis for 1-3 year(s), with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
