Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Social Work and Social Administration (Ref.:536657), to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Social Sciences, Social Work, Psychology, Public Health, Biostatistics, or a related discipline, with strong sense of responsibility and problem-solving skills, effective communication skills (both written and oral English), good interpersonal skills, and ability to work as an effective member of a team. Applicants with knowledge of ageing and mental health in later life, experience in programme evaluation and advanced statistics, and/or a strong track publication record will have an advantage.
The appointee will be working closely with multidisciplinary scholars and a research team on an evaluation study examining the impact of technology use on mental health in later life. The appointee will be responsible for data collection, data management and analysis, preparation of research reports and high-quality manuscripts, the development of proposals and research design, the presentation of research findings at local and international conferences, the supervision of junior research staff in academic and research activities, and other duties as assigned by the Principal Investigator.
