Applicants should possess a Ph.D. or a doctoral degree by research in microbiology, immunology, or a related discipline, with a proven research track record. They should be a self-motivated team player with critical thinking skills. Strong communication skills, along with a good command of spoken and written English, are essential. Experience in flow cytometry, T cell immunology, serology assays, and handling microbial pathogens at biosafety level 2 (BSL2) would be advantageous.
The appointee will join a multidisciplinary research team to study the effect of pre-existing immunity to influenza infection and transmission. Enquiries about the duties of the post should be sent to Ms. Amen Yiu at amenyiu@hku.hk.
