About this position
Postdoctoral fellow positions are available in the laboratories of Drs. Xu Yu and Mathias Lichterfeld at the Massachusetts General Hospital, Brigham Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School and Ragon Institute of MGH, MIT and Harvard. Postdocs will engage in studies on HIV-1 viral pathogenesis, immune defense and clinical HIV eradication trials. Job Duties: Responsible for the design, execution, and interpretation of experiments; Interfaces with collaborators to design experiments, analyze and interpret the data; Prepare scientific presentations and publications Supervises the experiments and data analysis of technicians or students as needed
Qualifications: Ph.Ds or M.D./Ph.Ds with a solid background in immunology, virology or cell biology and a strong interest in career development in HIV research are encouraged to apply.
Only candidates with demonstrated ability for completing complex research projects during their Ph.D and significant experience in standard laboratory techniques (next-generation sequencing (such as RNA-Seq, ATAC-Seq, etc.), flow cytometry, PCR, western blots, tissue culture, etc.) will be considered.
