The role holder will interact directly with research collaborators including Neutreeno and six UK SMEs in the electronics industry, lead the required tasks in Work Package 1b, and undertake assigned tasks in Work Packages 2, 3 and 4. Key responsibilities include coordinating the REWIRE Project with Neutreeno, the SME collaborators and colleagues within CUED; reviewing carbon assessment methodologies and systems; understanding SME issues and requirements for CO2 emission assessment and efficiency improvement; co-developing an effective system for SMEs with Neutreeno; organising workshops; engaging wider SME communities to disseminate the system and associated best practices; and planning and controlling the project from the University of Cambridge side.
The role holder will also collaborate with IfM scholars and students to develop an education case for ISMM/MET, academic papers on CO2 emission assessment and efficiency improvement, and research grant proposals for EPSRC and/or other research councils.
