You will be responsible for:
- Responsibility for establishing and performing human cell CRISPR screening, optimizing screen conditions, setting up new methods, validating hits and defining mechanisms, and documenting workflows and training colleagues.
- Conduct individual and collaborative research projects.
- Prepare research work for publication and dissemination.
- Collaborate with academic colleagues on areas of shared research interest.
We welcome candidates who bring diverse perspectives, experiences, and approaches to their work.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable criteria:
- Previous experience establishing, optimising and analysing genetic screens is strongly desirable.
We value transferable skills and real-world experience as much as formal qualifications.

Some positions — especially in Germany, Austria and Switzerland — are filled by writing directly to the supervisor rather than through an online form. These addresses were taken from the advert text, so check them against the official listing before you write.
A cold email to a supervisor is the highest-leverage thing you can send — and the easiest to get wrong. Ask us to look at yours before you hit send.
