This role offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with our internationally recognised academic team on various railway projects focused on resilience, risk and reliability and obsolescence modelling. The successful candidate will have the chance to engage in the development of novel research methods, extend their research portfolio and contribute to the evolution of modelling techniques in collaboration with stakeholders in railway industry. Working closely with industry and agency partners, the role holder will ensure that research outcomes influence future developments and widespread use.

In this capacity, the Research Fellow will be expected to prepare high-quality research outputs and grant proposals, including publications in leading journals and other relevant platforms.
