Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above in statistics, biostatistics, or related disciplines, with at least 3 years’ work experience. They should have a strong quantitative background, good communication and data visualisation skills, the ability to present abstract concepts in an accessible way to all organisational levels and to acquire new statistical techniques by self-learning. They should be responsible, mature, attentive to details, and able to work independently and in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Knowledge of multilevel modelling and other statistical methods for longitudinal data analysis; familiarity with time series analysis and complex survey design and weighting is preferred. Experience in epidemiological data analysis of large datasets using R and/or STATA is highly preferred, competency in Python and SAS could be an advantage. Those with less experience may be considered as Research Assistant I/II.

The appointee will work on research projects related to health service research, and assist in research team management, data management, data analytics, project coordination and preparation of research reports. Those with experience in data emerging and big data analytics would be an added credential.
