Unit: Department of Operations and Information Systems
Your Responsibilities
- Writing a doctoral thesis at the University of Graz in the field of sustainability
- Independent research activities, particularly in the areas of optimization and modern energy systems
- Participation in the research projects of the institute
- Independent teaching of courses and participation in teaching and examination tasks of the institute
- Supervision of students
- Participation in organizational and administrative tasks as well as in evaluation measures
Your Profile
- Completed diploma or master’s degree in the area Business Administration
- Very good command of written and spoken German and English
- Very good knowledge of optimization, including its application in the field of energy systems
- Experience in implementing mathematical optimization models using relevant software systems is desirable
- Interest in internationally oriented research
- Scientific curiosity and ability to work with students
- Sense of personal responsibility and strong communication, teamwork and organiziational skills

We offer an annual gross salary of at least € 52.865,40 for a fulltime position. An overpayment based on qualification and experience is possible.
