Your Responsibilities

  • Writing a doctoral thesis at the University of Graz in the field of sustainability
  • Independent research activities, particularly in the areas of optimization and modern energy systems
  • Participation in the research projects of the institute
  • Independent teaching of courses and participation in teaching and examination tasks of the institute
  • Supervision of students
  • Participation in organizational and administrative tasks as well as in evaluation measures

Your Profile

  • Completed diploma or master’s degree in the area Business Administration
  • Very good command of written and spoken German and English
  • Very good knowledge of optimization, including its application in the field of energy systems
  • Experience in implementing mathematical optimization models using relevant software systems is desirable
  • Interest in internationally oriented research
  • Scientific curiosity and ability to work with students
  • Sense of personal responsibility and strong communication, teamwork and organiziational skills

We offer an annual gross salary of at least € 52.865,40 for a fulltime position. An overpayment based on qualification and experience is possible.
